The Builder

Guided by what endures.

North Brothers is a specialty residential general contractor owned and operated by Mark Manning and Brett Morton, rooted in northwest Montana's tradition of craftsmanship. Their work balances design with long-term performance — homes meant to be durable, comfortable, and built to last for generations.

They're also a Phius certified builder — trained in passive-house building science, the most demanding standard for energy performance and envelope quality in residential construction. It's the same discipline DEN's super-insulated prefab panels are engineered around, which is exactly why they're the network's first partner.

Why we Certified Them

North Brothers builds the way we design.

01

Vetted craft

A full-service GC with a portfolio of design-forward Montana homes — we reviewed the work, the licensure, and the building philosophy before anything else.

02

Building science first

Phius certification means passive-house-level rigor on airtightness, insulation, and envelope detail — the discipline DEN's prefab panel system is built around.

03

Trained on the DEN system

DEN trains every certified partner on our prefab assembly system before they ever run a build. You get their craft and our engineering, together.
