Thank you for visiting and shopping with DEN. We care deeply about our customers and want to provide clear, transparent information about how our business operates.
Shipping Policy
Digital Goods
- Processing Time: All digital orders are processed immediately and delivered to you as a personalized, trackable download link via email—usually within minutes of your transaction.
- Shipping Charges: There are no shipping charges for digital goods.
- International Availability: DEN digital plans are available globally, but they are currently provided in English and the Imperial system of measurement.
Return & Refund Policy for Digital Goods
We stand behind the accuracy and quality of our digital products. Each plan includes detailed photographs, floorplans, schematic drawings, and product specifications so you know what you’re receiving before purchase.
Because digital files cannot be returned, all digital sales are final.
If you believe you’ve been charged in error (for example, duplicate purchase or billing mistake), please contact us at support@denoutdoors.com and we’ll be glad to review your situation.
Licensing Agreement & Copyright
When you purchase a DEN building package, you’re not just buying plans—you’re receiving a license to build.
What You Can Do
- Build One Stick-Built Structure: A standard residential license grants you the right to build one stick-built version of the design you’ve purchased.
- Personal Use: As a homeowner, you may rent out your cabin (e.g., Airbnb) under this license.
- Modify & Customize: You may modify the plans for your project. The resulting design remains subject to this license.
What’s Not Allowed (and what is okay)
-
Prefab Manufacturing: DEN is the only company authorized to produce prefab versions of DEN designs.
What’s okay: You’re fully welcome to use your local builder to create a stick-built version of your DEN plan.
Questions as a manufacturer? Please reach out to support@denoutdoors.com. - Resale or Redistribution: Plans are licensed to you for your project and can’t be resold, sub-licensed, or shared—whether in whole or in part.
-
Commercial Development: The standard residential license doesn’t cover real estate, hospitality, or other commercial projects.

Marketing & Attribution
Whenever your DEN design is featured publicly—including on Instagram, other social media platforms, your own website, blog posts, or in media publications—it must always be clearly referenced as a DEN design. This protects the integrity of our work and ensures proper attribution.
Copyright
All DEN plans and content are protected by U.S. copyright law. Unauthorized reproduction, resale, or transfer is a violation of federal law and may result in damages of up to $100,000 per offense.
Additional Terms
- DEN plans are designed to meet generally accepted professional standards but are not tailored to your specific site conditions (soil, frost depth, seismic zone, wind load, etc.).
- Local codes and material standards may vary. It is the licensee’s responsibility to work with a builder, structural engineer, and local building department to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and codes.
- DEN assumes no responsibility for construction supervision, site safety, or changes made by third parties.
