DEN Prefab · Step 3 — the guided lane

Precision-engineered. Finished your way.

We don't ship your whole house on a truck — just the part that has to be perfect: a fully framed, fully insulated shell with windows and doors, engineered as one structure. Your builder handles the rest.

  • Engineered to your site — snow, wind, seismic
  • Stamped permit-ready plans included
  • Shell up in 5–15 days

What arrives on the truck

The hard part, mastered.

Three engineered systems, fabricated indoors, delivered numbered and ready to assemble — the part of your build that's impossible to fix later.

  • 1
    Steel & closed-cell foam panels
Not standard SIPs. A precision-cut, numbered insulated envelope that exceeds local code on every wall and roof surface.
  • 2
    Structural framing package
Heavy-gauge steel framing engineered to your design's exact geometry — loft framing included on two-story builds.
  • 3
    Windows & exterior doors
Matched to your design — large-format glass walls included — ready to install.

Why we scope it this way

We ship the hard part. You source the easy part, anywhere.

Kit companies that ship everything inherit a fulfillment nightmare — and it becomes your delay. We master what has to be flawless; your builder buys the rest locally, cheaper than any kit could ship it.

DEN engineers & ships

The hard part

Impossible to source locally. Impossible to fix after the fact. So we get it perfect.

  • High-performance insulated shell
  • Structural framing, engineered to your site
  • Windows & doors, matched to the design
  • Stamped, permit-ready plans for the whole structure
Your local builder sources

The easy part

Commodity items anyone can buy locally — usually cheaper, and to your taste.

  • Appliances, fixtures & finishes
  • Foundation & site work
  • MEP — electrical, plumbing, HVAC
  • Interior framing, drywall & paint

That split isn't a limitation — it's the point. Nobody can locally source a precision-engineered insulated shell. Anyone can buy an LG fridge.

You're not on your own

We art-direct the easy part, too.

Every prefab includes the DEN buying guide — the exact brands and products that get a true DEN outcome. You buy locally at commodity prices, with none of the guesswork.

The DEN difference

Engineered as one structure — not a pile of parts.

A kit of panels isn't a building. DEN engineers the entire structure as a single system — the shell, the framing, the openings, the loads — designed to your specific site and stamped permit-ready.

  • In-house engineering, every build. Not outsourced, not your problem to coordinate.
  • Engineered to your site. Snow, wind, and seismic loads designed in, not assumed.
  • Stamped & permit-ready — included. In the Building lane, your engineer stamps the plans. With Prefab, DEN delivers the entire structure stamped for your jurisdiction.
