Precision-engineered. Finished your way.
We don't ship your whole house on a truck. We ship the part that has to be perfect — a high-performance, fully-framed, fully-insulated shell with the windows and doors, engineered as one complete structure. Your local builder handles the rest, cheaper than any kit company could.
The hard part, mastered.
Three engineered systems, fabricated indoors and delivered to your site numbered and ready to assemble. This is the part of your build that's impossible to fix later — so we make it the part we get perfect.
- 1Steel & closed-cell foam panelsNot standard SIPs. A high-performance insulated envelope, precision-cut and numbered, that exceeds local code on every wall and roof surface.
- 2Structural framing packageCustom heavy-gauge steel framing engineered to hold the exact geometry of your design — including loft framing on two-story builds.
- 3Windows & exterior doorsA full window and exterior door package matched to your design's geometry, including large-format glass walls, delivered ready to install.
We ship the hard part. You source the easy part, anywhere.
Some kit companies cram the whole house onto a truck — appliances, fixtures, finishes — and inherit a fulfillment nightmare that becomes your delay. We don't. We master the one thing that has to be flawless, and let your local builder buy the commodity parts cheaper than any kit could ship them.
The hard part
Impossible to source locally. Impossible to fix after the fact. So we get it perfect.
- ✓ High-performance insulated shell
- ✓ Structural framing, engineered to your site
- ✓ Windows & doors, matched to the design
- ✓ Stamped, permit-ready plans for the whole structure
The easy part
Commodity items anyone can buy locally — usually cheaper, and to your taste.
- → Appliances, fixtures & finishes
- → Foundation & site work
- → MEP — electrical, plumbing, HVAC
- → Interior framing, drywall & paint
That split isn't a limitation — it's the point. Nobody can locally source a precision-engineered insulated shell. Anyone can buy an LG fridge. We carry the risk only we can carry, and leave the rest where it's cheapest and most flexible: your hands, your builder, your local supply.
We art-direct the easy part, too.
Sourcing finishes yourself doesn't mean guessing. Every prefab comes with the DEN buying guide — the trusted brands and specific products that get you a true DEN-style outcome on siding, hardwood flooring, fixtures, finishes, and more. You procure it locally and install it with your builder, at commodity prices, with none of the guesswork.
- Siding & exterior cladding
- Hardwood & LVP flooring
- Kitchen & bath fixtures
- Lighting & hardware
- Paint, finishes & trim
- Appliances & the brands we trust
Engineered as one structure — not a pile of parts.
A kit of panels isn't a building. DEN engineers the entire structure as a single system — the shell, the framing, the openings, the loads — designed to your specific site and stamped permit-ready.
That's the thing a configurator and a parts list can't give you, and it's why your build goes up fast and stands up for decades.
- ✓In-house engineering, every build. Not outsourced, not your problem to coordinate.
- ✓Engineered to your site. Snow, wind, and seismic loads designed in, not assumed.
- ✓Stamped & permit-ready. The whole structure, ready for your jurisdiction.
An engineered path, not a guessing game.
Five stages from reservation to a weather-tight shell, with the DEN team alongside you at each one. Payments are tied to milestones, so you always know what you're paying for and what's next.
Deposit & reservation
A $10,000 deposit reserves your DEN. We reach out within 48 hours to schedule your kickoff. The deposit is refundable for 14 days and credits toward your final prefab price.
Preconstruction & customization
You work with the DEN team to finalize customization, site orientation, foundation requirements, code guidance, and permitting support — and we engineer every change.
Fabrication & delivery
Your shell enters climate-controlled production: engineered and stamped, panels fabricated, with regular updates and shipping coordination from the DEN team throughout.
On-site assembly
Your local builder — trained and guided by the DEN team through every step — assembles the shell with confidence, even if it's their first DEN: insulated panels, structural framing and loft system, and the window and door package.
Interior buildout & finishes
Your builder completes the easy part: foundation systems, MEP, interior framing, and all the appliances, fixtures, and finishes you sourced locally to your taste.
